23 - Video - First Day of Flood

For Morgana:

[The words are surrounded by a smattering of stars.]

Don't give up. You're so much more than what you've lost.

For River:

[It's a crude doodle, but it vaguely resembles a baby bird hatching from her egg.]

One day, you'll grow your wings.

For Charles:

[She didn't try a drawing for this one; instead, it's paired with a picture of the current X-Men, standing in front of the school.]

Your future won't look like this, but it will be just as amazing. I love you, and so will she.

For Nathan:

[Surprisingly, the rose isn't half bad.]

You can feel in all the ways that matter most. Never forget your heart.

For Elsa:

[She's cut the paper into the form of a snowflake.]

You are more than what you can do, and what you fear. You're beautiful.

For Kara:

[A stylised sun, peeking out of the clouds.]

Thank you. We're going to make it; we're going to bring them back.

For Marsh:

[She's pressed rose petals into the page, in the shape of a heart.]

For Rogue:

We're X-Men; that means we're family. I'm always here for you.

For Iris:

[Jean's drawn out a constellation, around the words - Libra.]

I bear the Scales, where hang in equipoise
The night and day; and when unto my lips
I put my trumpet, with its stress and noise
Fly the white clouds like tattered sails of ships;
The tree-tops lash the air with sounding whips;
Southward the clamorous sea-fowl wing their flight;
The hedges are all red with haws and hips,
The Hunter's Moon reigns empress of the night.

[Video]

[Jean looks amused, as she twirls newly white hair in her fingers. It's a streak that some will recognise immediately.]

So - do I pull it off?
