OOC PREFERENCES:
CONTACT METHOD: I'm Shobogan on Plurk and shobogans on AIM.
THREAD-JACKING: Feel free!
FOURTH WALLING / CANON PUNCTURE: This is fine, but I'd prefer if people didn't inform Jean about things like the Phoenix and her impending deaths.
BACKTAGGING: Always welcome.
AVOIDED TOPICS: None.

IC CHARACTERISTICS:
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Jean is twenty-four years old, with bright, shoulder-length red hair and vibrant green eyes. Standing at 5'6'', she has an athletic physique. She's from the suburbs of New York.

As Phoenix, her eyes blaze white.
DEMEANOR: Jean will be quite solemn, though she'll do her best to continue to each out to people. She'll strive very hard to keep her temper under control, and not to enjoy any violence she's forced into.
ABILITIES: Jean has inherent telekenesis and telepathy, bolstered by the Phoenix Force; she can manipulate matter at a molecular level, and do a complete psi-scan with little effort. She's capable of conjuring cosmic flames.

While she prefers to use her power in battle, she's proficient in physical combat as well, due to her training in the X-Men. She has around eight years of combat experience.
MEDICAL INFORMATION: Jean isn't exactly human any more, so it's hard to say what exactly medical scans would show.
OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS: Discrimination of any sort. She's also sensitive to the topics of car accidents and child death.

IC PERMISSIONS:
MENTAL: Jean can be controlled if caught unawares, but only so far. Subtle manipulation is easier, but that leads nowhere good. Reading her mind is risky; Xavier once said it felt like being on the shores of an ocean of light, and if he delved too deep, his thoughts would turn to ash.
MIMICRY: Go ahead!
VIOLENCE: Feel free! She may or may not fight back, depending on her state of mind. If she does, it will be with devastating power.
MAGIC: Go ahead. Phoenix has no specific defences against magic.
DEBATE: Of course.
OTHER / NOTES: Nope.
